1. These terms

These terms apply to this website (the "Site"), run by Play and Prosper ("we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site; you can still get Toktail from GitHub under its license.

2. The software and its license

Toktail is licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0. The Pip the Token Fox artwork is distributed under the same license, as described in the project's NOTICE file. Your rights to use, copy, change and share Toktail come from that license, and nothing on this page limits or adds to them. If these terms and the license ever disagree about the software, the license wins.

3. No warranty

The Site and the software are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Site will be available, error-free or secure, or that downloads will work on your system.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the Site or the software, even if we were told such damage was possible. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

5. Prices, estimates and opinions

The cost figures on the Site and in Toktail are estimates. Cloud prices are public list prices collected on a specific date, without caching or volume discounts, and providers change them. Electricity and hardware figures come from one person's machine. Quality grades are the author's personal opinion. None of it is financial, purchasing or legal advice; check current prices with each provider before you rely on them.

6. Names and trademarks

"Toktail" and "Pip the Token Fox" identify this project. The Apache 2.0 license does not grant permission to use these names to suggest that a modified version or another product is ours or is endorsed by us. Claude, GPT, DeepSeek, LM Studio and the other product names on the Site belong to their owners. Toktail is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

7. Using the Site fairly

Please don't:

• try to break, overload or get around the security of the Site or its API;
• use scripts or bots to inflate the download or token counters;
• use the Site to break the law or anyone else's rights.

We may block traffic that does these things.

8. Downloads and links

Download buttons send you to files hosted on GitHub, and the Site links to other websites. We aren't responsible for third-party sites, and their own terms and privacy policies apply. How we record downloads is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. If you keep using the Site after a change, the updated terms apply.
